About Me

I am North Yorkshire born and bred and proud to have over 35 years of professional horticultural experience to my name. Starting out as a nurseryman working at the award winning plant nursery of R.V.Roger Ltd in Pickering I learnt my trade propagating and growing alpines producing around 25,000 plants a year before moving into other departments in the business and learning all aspects of the trade. I went on to spend several years in the R.V. Roger Plant Centre advising customers, passing on my knowledge and sharing practical, honest advice and ideas, which is something that I love to do.

In 2002 I decided to branch out on my own and since that time I have developed my garden maintenance business, managing gardens from small spaces to two acre gardens and working along side customers to turn their dreams into a reality, creating and maintaining a garden to suit their needs and to fit their personality and lifestyle. I have never lost my enthusiasm for learning and developing my skills and I have always gone the extra mile to give the best service possible with some of my regular customers having being with me for over 20 years.

Due to changing personal circumstances I had to rethink my business and offering a coaching service was a natural choice for me, allowing me to pass on my love of horticulture and my practical skills and knowledge to anyone who wants to improve their garden.
