With Spring trying its hardest to warm up and dry out a little there are plenty of jobs to do around the garden.
Pruning Jobs
Last chance to prune Apples And Pears
Plums, Gages and Cherries
Gooseberries
Buddleia
Cornus (dogwoods)
Roses, Bush and climbers
Hydrangeas
Hardy Fuchsias
Some Ornamental Grasses
Clematis
Other Jobs
Sowing Flower and Veg seeds such as Tomatoes and Salad leaves.
Prepare raised beds for planting.
Mulch Borders before plant growth gets too big.
Divide Herbaceous Perennials.
Brew and Biscuits or Cake, enjoy the garden.


Feeding
Feeding your Fruit Trees, use an organic based fertilizer such as Rose Fertilizer, Blood,fish and Bone or Chicken Manure pellets. Always follow the recommended amounts on the packaging. If using chicken pellets a supplement of sulphate of Potash is recommended.
Feeding Roses, Use specific Rose Fertilizer
Shrubs and Borders, Feed with Blood,fish and bone or Chicken pellets or if you have pets that like the taste of those Growmore general fertilizer is the go to option.
Clematis and Wisteria, Use rose fertilizer, with additional Potash
